Exquisite crosses between Tree Peonies and Herbaceous Peonies, the Itoh Hybrids are vigorous herbaceous plants. Because of their Tree Peony ancestors these Peonies will die back almost to the ground, but never quite all the way. The first Itoh hybrid peony was yellow in color. But there are many new and exciting colors now available, thanks in part to breeders worldwide.

Note: We are shipping large sized 2-3 eye plants which many will bloom in the first year. Our competition ships a smaller plant that is grown from tissue culture that will take 2-3 years to bloom.

Cheery soft primrose yellow flowers look delicate, but are actually sturdy and strong in all elements.
