Exquisite crosses between Tree Peonies and Herbaceous Peonies, the Itoh Hybrids are vigorous herbaceous plants. Because of their Tree Peony ancestors these Peonies will die back almost to the ground, but never quite all the way. The first Itoh hybrid peony was yellow in color. But there are many new and exciting colors now available, thanks in part to breeders worldwide.

Note: We are shipping large sized 2-3 eye plants which many will bloom in the first year. Our competition ships a smaller plant that is grown from tissue culture that will take 2-3 years to bloom.

Exotic and lush, this Peony's pale yellow petals are rimmed in rosy purple. Julia's petals are so quilled and curled they could almost be qualified as "anemone"
