Red Spider Lily
Lycoris radiata
Multiflowering, bright red flowers, on 18" stems.
Strap-shaped green foliage disappears in July; flower spike bursts forth in August. Grow in cool greenhouses, outdoors in warmer areas where little or no frost is experienced. Elsewhere protect where temperatures drop into the twenties.
